      How do I authorise Standard Ledger to be my BAS / tax agent?

      You can authorise Standard Ledger through the ATO online services for business portal

      From November 2023, for security purposes, the ATO requires that all companies, trusts and partnerships explictly authorise an agent to act on their behalf.

      We cannot do this authorisation for you.

      You can call the ATO on 13 28 66 if you need help

      Check out the detailed instructions on the ATO's client-agent linking page for more information if needed,  but in summary, as the principal authority for your business:

      If this is your first time you may need to:

      1. Setup your own Digital ID (myGovID)
      2. Link this to your ABN using the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM)

      Then

      1. Login to Online services for business
      2. Nominate Standard Ledger as your authorised agent 

      Let your contact at Standard Ledger know you have nominated them. We do not receive any automated system notification.
